Winter sports enthusiasts love the variety and the sheer endless possibilities of an active holiday in the Ötztal. Skiing or snowboarding, cross-country skiing, tobogganing, ice skating and much more. And nature plays the leading role.

A skiing holiday in the hotspot of the Alps. The Sölden ski area is 16 km away from our holiday accommodation in Längenfeld. The glacier ski area impresses with 144 km of slopes in all levels of difficulty, 31 modern lifts and 33 huts for refreshment and feasting. Several ski schools are available on site for beginners and advanced skiers. And the best of all: From 3 days the ski pass is valid in all ski areas in the Ötztal (Ötztal Superskipass). With so much variety, the fun on the slopes doesn't stop. The right equipment is available in the ski rentals and sports shops in Längenfeld and Sölden. The ski areas Sölden and Gurgl are both accessible by ski bus. A bus stop is only a few minutes' walk away from jordan's Lodge126.

Sporty on the trails in and around Längenfeld. There are a total of 10 cross-country ski runs in Längenfeld for skating and classic cross-country skiing. The high-altitude trails in nearby Gries are the most snow-sure variants. The 3 km long night cross-country ski run in Oberried, not far from jordan's Lodge126, is also located in Längenfeld, where beginners and professionals can also do their loops in the evening.

Climb the mountain off-piste - for example during winter hiking followed by a toboggan run. Here in Längenfeld there are four toboggan runs with possibilities to eat and toboggan hire. The starting point to the Wurzberg Alm can be reached in a few minutes and the toboggan runs Nissl Alm and Sulztal Alm in Gries promise top snow conditions due to their altitude. For those who prefer less sport, use the gondola of the Gaislachkogel lift to get to the new 7 km long toboggan run in Sölden. This is tobogganing fun XXL.

There is also an ice rink for skating and curling in Längenfeld, only a five-minute drive from our apartments in Unterried. The place is open daily in the afternoon and evening. Skates can be rented for children and adults from the groundskeeper.
